What's your understanding and interest in fashion and technology today!

The factory of the 21st century is a network of artisans working from their homes and small offices -- not the sweat shops of the 19th and 20th centuries.

Where do you see the business fashion and technology in 2012

Complete industries of apparel and accessory production taking place in designers' homes and small offices with local warehouse distribution centers providing for global e-commerce purchase and ship.

What are you hoping to find via FashionCamp: Please be specific someone here might have the answer you need!

To discuss how to share NYC-based skilled labor (e.g. sample and pattern makers) across various NY-based independent fashion designers.

We're all beginners in something and experts in another! What are you just beginning to explore? What are you an expert in?

I have a tech background in e-commerce -- requirements development. Very excited by the possibility of cell phone payments and how that can be used to further assist the commerce of fashion!
